Hurtigruten ship Nordkapp Hurtigruten ship Nordkapp on it's way out from Molde. Hurtigruten means coastal express, and was once very important as a tranport service along the Norwegian coast between Bergen and Kirkenes, with numerous stops on the route. Today, the passengers are mostly tourists, but the service remains, with one northbound and one southbound departure every day year round.

I flew these for 6 years, which was an Incredibly interesting job, but a bit challenging sometimes, landing the thing in bad weather on a ship that was going up and down like h***... This is a scanned dias from 1984, and I am not very satisfied with the quality of the scan. The original isn't too bad, considering it was taken with an Olympus OM-1 where EVERYTHING was manual (autofocus wasn't even invented I believe...), but otherwise an extremely reliable and good professional class camera. So I have to try another scanning method.
